On Rune's blog I found a beautiful picture of a little island with a lighttower. A friend of him already painted it in acrylics, Rune was showing that also. I wanted to draw it myself too, so I asked him if I could do that. And he gave his permission to do so :))
I didn't like the tree in the foreground so I moved it aside a bit ;) And I didn't make the water dark enough so the beautiful golden colour of the golden hour does not pop out enough :( Maybe some day I'll do it again :))
And I googled for this lighttower and found that you can spend your holidays there :) So if you want to go there just click here. To switch to your language click on the menu on the top right. And here is more lighttower holiday possibilities in Norway for you from the same website, click the menu for changing language :) .

And here are some pictures from one day on the beach. There was stormy weather to come and the clouds do
show that, too :) That weather started to turn the next day and stayed for 3 days. But now it's beautiful again :))

These skies look so different, but I took those pictures within the same hour.
Mostly it was grey like this...
Some people where feeding the gulls for some pictures.
I took advantage of it, even though my camera was not as good as theirs.
But I'll never feed them myself, I've seen too many horrible pictures of poor birds
that starved to death because they ate something that wasn't good for them. :(
And when I left the beach the sky was that beautiful again :)
Have a wonderful day!
Möwe :)
Hello, your sketch is wonderful. I love the lighthouses, did you say you can actually stay there overnight? That would be cool. I love the views of the water and sky! And the gulls photos are awesome! Great post, Mowe! Have a happy day!

Hi Möwe, I do not know how you ever stay at home with all the beautiful scenery out and around in your part of the world. And, I don't mean to say your home isn't beautiful too! :-) We are lucky to have you sharing your photos with us so we can enjoy the beautiful beach and skies. Now, I love lighthouses, and your art today is great! Have a wonderful afternoon and evening!
AntwortenLöschenHello John, thank you very much for your
Löschencompliments :) No, my home is not beauti-
ful - that's why I go out or disappear in my

Bin gerne hier.
Liebe Grüße
Danke für Deinen Besuch Gretel und
Löschenfür die Komplimente :)
Oh I really, really like your new work of art. The colors are extraordinary.
AntwortenLöschenPS...love the sea birds too.
LöschenThank you very much Anni! :)
Susi
Vielen lieben Dank Susi :)
You are fast becoming one of my favourite painters! This is another beautiful painting. I LOVE lighthouses and the wonderful way you have drawn your branches and leaves silhouetting in the foreground.
AntwortenLöschenThank you very much Mandy! I'm flattered :))
LöschenThank you all for your visit and your nice comments :))
